USI needs to find two "Minix's" for next season....I don't care who else they would sign for the rest of the recruiting class. At this point I will take one recruit who gets to play. I am still furious over how bad we recruited. Just 2 decent players and we wouldn’t have been so embarrassingly bad.

Congrats to Morehead State as they turned things up when it really counted. Their coach runs circles over the rest of the coaches in this league. SIUC AD should have him on speed dial, but something tells me he isn’t smart enough to do so.

If I were a high mid major I would take him in a heartbeat.

I know Morehead will represent the OVC very well in the tournament. They have got some great kids and who can say enough about Preston. Will be interesting who they will play. I guess they will be 15 seed?

I guess they will be 15 seed? Earlier in the season the brackets I saw had them at a 14 seed, but that was before they lost to us. Losing to a low ranked team might have cost them that 14 seed though. What will help them though is they have a pretty high NET ranking which has hovered most of the season at just over 100. Other mid and low majors might not have their automatic bid team with a NET anywhere near that low. Plus, if any upsets in the mid major conferences happen, chances are their NET would be lower also. I hope they can get a 14 seed so they might have a better chance at competing in a close game.

Would love for MSU to pull off a win. They don't have a lot of depth and that may or may not hurt them. But is sure would be a big boost for out league to get a win....along with some money and recognition. I love this time of year...I look so forward to getting out of transition.

www.bracketmatrix.com/Bracket matrix has them as a likely 15 seed as of now, however any mid major upsets and they could bump to a 14 seed. As of now they have Indiana State as an 11 seed.

Read where Spradlin is making around $260K a year, which is less than McCollum at Northwest Missouri State. If SIU comes calling he’s as good as gone and will coach circles around what Mullins did, who they were ridiculously paying $475K with NO head coaching experience.

I watched the post game interview with Spradlin and the one key thing he said stuck in my head. He said he is from Kentucky and has always lived and coached in Kentucky. If he feels that strong about staying in Kentucky I wonder if his old rival Murray State would be interested. The Murray fans are furious and 2 bad seasons in a row for them isn’t going to cut it for a school that considers itself a basketball mid major power. I don’t know what Murray pays now, but I’m sure since they moved to the MVC they are going to have to pay more to get a good coach.

Missouri State finally fired Ford, who is one of the worst coaches you will ever find. McColllom would jump at this job as if should be one of the very best in the MVC.

I guess they will be 15 seed? Probably, I've seen some brackets that had LR @13 so I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped the "lesser" team MSU down to 15
