And another stupid goal just literally given away. It is going to take a complete overhaul to fix this mess. Good lord…. Agree. I was standing near the goal on their second score. We just flat out made stupid mistakes to give them an easy goal. The only slack I will give them is that the field is really soaked with lots of loose grass. We had about 2.5 inches of rain yesterday morning but I thought it would have dried out better by now. With that said, still no excuses for the stupid plays where we give up easy goals sometimes. I don’t know if we will win more than a few games all year unless a miracle happens. Big changes are needed fast.

At this point I will happy with a tie. It is bad when Mercer allows 6 goals against California State-Fullerton and USI can not even score 1 goal.

At least he admits the 2 goals were on stupid mistakes. But he doesn’t provide much info on how to turn things around. No specifics but rather vague obvious answers….like we need to get more goals…..well duh. I just don’t know if he can lead us to success in D1. He seems like a nice guy, but D1 is a business and we need more than just nice guys now imo.

And if we are being bluntly honest, this team would be near the bottom of the GLVC. It’s time to go….

USI men's soccer has struggle since then. I am afraid darker days are ahead.

7-0 now….I’m sorry but this is embarrassing. This same team beat Western Illinois by one goal.

He was not great in D2 and he is not going to propel us to where we want to be in D1. He should be replaced as soon as season ends so the new coach has time to recruit.

Our AD has a conflict of interest here with his son being on the team. A new coach would completely wipe the slate clean. Let’s be completely honest here. When we play Chicago State it could be the battle of the worst DI team in the country. This team is that bad.
