LOL....Well, I guess that would be a good indicator!!! Sounds like the exact opposite of Causewell this year. He was as passive as I’ve seen most games. I thought the same thing.

I saw enough in 30 seconds to see he’s better than Powell and Causwell.

I saw enough in 30 seconds to see he’s better than Powell and Causwell. I very much agree and thought the same thing. Not a super star by any means at all...but a definite upgrade. I am uncertain if his arrest is an isolated incident or how much potential drama he has. But if he is a good kid, and we can't find anyone better, he would be worth a gamble. Most bigs at this level are gambles most of the time anyway.

True. Very few 6-10 or taller kids are great athletes, it’s just a fact. The obvious ones are gobbled up by the P5 schools early which means the rest of us have to gamble and take a chance. I don’t want any problems to come into our program but if this was just a situation where the competition was heated and got a little bit too heated, then I’m ok with that type passion. If he is a habitual hothead, that I want no part of. If we can get an above average 7 footer with some skill, we will be in good shape in our conference.

I would have to think Stan knew about this incident well before we did. How much conversation he has had with him we can only speculate. Kind of makes you wonder if he might be the guy we are waiting for an announcement on. Hope we hear something within next few days...hopefully today.

He is visiting Bama A&M this weekend so it’s probably not him.

I wonder if it will even be D1? And why would he wait to say his announcement as if the rest of the world cannot wait to hear.

The AP Indiana All Star teams were announced today. Dunham received high honorable mention. Every player on the high honorable mention will play D1 or high D2. The first second and third team guys are all going high P5.

Im really pulling for Dunham to do well. When local players do exceptional at your school there are so many benefits. Plus, he obviously is a great young man.

With us having 8 guards I would understand if he redshirted next year, but if he gets in the gym and stands out as one of our top players, then I want him to play immediately. I just think the new juco guards will be ready to go after playing college ball for 2 years already. Might be better for him to practice a year to get used to the speed of college guys.

Defending at this level is usually the biggest adjustment. With his unique 3 year scholarship, I have to believe the plan from day 1 was to redshirt.

As of now, I would expect Braxton and Kodi will get the majority of minutes at the guard positions. Harrison will play their some as well. Campion will compete for minutes against Sears. Not sure of what to expect from Luther. Stan kept him so he must see something in him. I doubt if Hall will play the guard position much this year though could be wrong. Not a lot of room for Dunham unless he burns it up during the preseason. That's pretty tough competition at the top

Wonder what Mervis will do? He started half our games last year and played significant minutes. He just graduated last weekend so he could start his career if that’s what he wanted to do. He could be on the bench as a graduate assistant also and get his masters paid for. I don’t see him getting many minutes next year with everyone we have at guard.
if I were Stan I would offer him a grad assistant job if he still wants to be part of the team and get his masters.
